Mallorca

We passed the test, we are responsible adults. We came back from Mallorca.

Mallorca is a beautiful island, with crystal clear water - deep blue in color, just cold enough to be refreshing - and mountains that meet the water to form numerous coves only accessible by boat.

Our hotel was located in Camp de Mar, where we spent much of our time doing nothing at the beach or the hotel pool. We did manage to drag ourselves away from the beach to go on a boat excursion that took us through the bay of Palma (the capital of Mallorca) and around the southern coast of the island. The views of the coast from the water were amazing. When our boat stopped in a small cove to allow for a swim, we just couldn't resist the beautiful water. The water in Mallorca was so clear, calm and refreshing that I can only compare to Florida spring water, only it is saltwater not fresh. We also spent a day touring Palma, and another day where we rented a car and drove through the mountains along the coast to the Port de Soller. We wanted to do some mountain biking and snorkeling, but we didn't get around to it...this time.
