Ed turns the big 4-0

Well, I have had these photos loaded to Blogger since June, but had been waiting to get some pictures of us at Fenway off Shelly's phone. However, now she's moved to a new phone (an iPhone and is completely obsessed - although the pulsating blue dot on the gps feature is friggin kewl!) so I don't know if I will ever get those photos now.

Here is our group, Cheri, Regan, Mike Netzer (adopted member of the gang), Shelly and myself in front of John Kerry's house. Pardon me while I hurl.

Here are a few shots from our walk along the Freedom Trail with intermittent stops for a pint and chowdah.

The USS Constitution was the most impressive stop along the trail.

Look, tourists!!! The best part of the trip is missing - Boston vs. the stinking Yankees and photos from Fenway. Boston of course won, but the most outstanding part of the game was a rain delay during an A-Rod at bat, and since he was announced on both sides of the delay we got to boo him twice in one at bat. Lucky us!!

Semi-annual update

I have been planning to throw up some posts for oh, six months or so. I am sure everyone gave up on the blog at this point so it is likely no one will see any of this.

Here are a few shots from over the last six months...

Turkey-day dinner at my parents house

Madison enjoying one of her most favorite activities - riding in the golf cart at Jimmy and Dee's house.

This past Christmas was our first with Shelly's side of the family since Madison was born. Man, did Madison rake it in.

Christmas part-two at my parents place and Madison enjoying her "Dora car" from aunt Tracy.

Madison helping my dad fill up the bird feeders in my parent's back yard, and a day at the Myakka River State Park. The park has cool 4-seater bikes for rent which was a lot of fun and Madison didn't try to jump out - an unexpected bonus.

Enjoying popcorn at a Cincinnati Reds spring training game.

Yummy, hot dog and macaroni and cheese!!

The two sides of Madison - prim and proper at The Field Club for Easter festivities and then later back at the house for coloring of eggs.

That is all for now. Check back soon for pictures from the big 4-0 in Boston and Myrtle Beach 2008.
