Weekend of May 21st

Hello everyone. This past weekend Shelly had a soccer game on Saturday and on Sunday we went to a wine festival in Deidesheim along the German Wine Route. The soccer game was the last of the season so Shelly won't play again for another month or so until the next season starts. The team is going to have significant turnover between seasons; the team will not be as talented, but it may be more fun than the current team was.

The wine festival was fun. We went with one of Shelly's coworkers, a fellow Gator Dentist. There was a very good jazz band playing that provided ample entertainment while we sampled the local wine. Of course, brats were served for lunch.

Thursday we leave by train for Paris. Our route takes us from Frankfurt to Paris via Brussels. We'll have many pictures to post next week.

If the blog is running a little slow, it is because we got another camera that shoots at higher megapixles. We want to print out and frame some of our better pictures so we needed better resolution.
