Madison, we think. Dr. Weber said we are at a 95% chance of a girl; in his words we "should start settling on girl names, but we should not start investing in pink just yet." So until the baby becomes less modest and decides to give up the goods, I guess the baby's name is still To Be Determined.
The image below is from Shelly's now monthly check up this past Thursday where she was at 17 weeks, 6 days. All the tests of both mother and baby are perfectly normal, and early ultrasound images provided negative results on the early indicators for Downs Syndrome and Spina Bifida.
Shelly has gained 7 pounds since the deed was done, and did not go through a classic morning sickness period; she did have sort of an all day feeling of motion sickness, but that has passed. To Be Determined is measuring right on average for total size, head size and bone development.
We are working on a baby registry online and I will post that information once we have the items finalized.

How happy we are for you three.
Also happy for us to have new grandchild :-)
You will make great parents. You both have much maturity and life experience.
We look forward to seeing more of " to be determined" :-)

Hello,
Congratulations! I am glad you are feeling well. This second trimester is going to be the best. That's funny that your baby is shy. TBD doesn't seem to take after you (remember the bubbles?). Ha, Ha.
You guys seem to be having so much fun. I am glad. Talk to you soon.
Megan.
Congrats Ed and Shelly. Looking forward to updates of TBD. :D
